in this article gerrit talks about his father in the first and last paragraphs, what he says about him and his hope for him goes against all that witnesses have preached about the worldly for the last 100 years... as i recall aren't all the worldly supposed to be destroyed and never have a hope of everlasting life like jw's are, and isn't that the purpose of the preaching work to baptize and warn the worldly of this???
if not why do jws even preach, or even become jws in the first place if all have a hope of everlasting life, jw and non-jw, are they releasing a little hint at new light to come???
or am i just missing or over analyzing something?.

I will not say how I "was taken." While not taking issue with his sincerity, nevertheless, I puzzled over his declared assurance of the 3 words in bold face.

if the society put out theocratic warfare videos, it would really help jw youths stick around, imho.
in place of commercial videos that are violent and suggestive, wt-sanctioned videos would supply a viable, healthy alternative.
accordingly, concerned and thoughtful witness parents could participate with their little warriors in theocratic warfare videos as virtual ot prophets wipe out the dread canaanites, zimri and cozbi take love to new heights and the beasts of revelation devour their quarry .... and the parents count their time.. any other thoughts regarding family worship night and related meeting parts?

I put up a thread yesterday about the difficulty of finding a hardcopy WT for meeting. When inquiring, I was asked if I could print my own or did I have a tablet. Both ink and tablets are not in the budget. I learned I could order a copy.
I hear champagne is cheaper, comparatively speaking, than ink. Makes me wonder . . . ???

You're correct, BD. Regularity at meetings was mentioned as a criterion. I, too, am inactive. Going out in service would be impossible on the basis of my appearance alone.
